Why join the Savvy Club?

I was asked this question the other day by a friend.

I explained that the Savvy Club opens so many closed doors for a lot of people.

The monthly Q&A sessions with a Parelli Professional are priceless. You are able to ask questions and get immediate answers from the professional.

The monthly educational Savvy Sessions with Pat using digital education content are my favorite. It is like having a free lesson with Pat.

So much is offered in the Savvy Club through access to the Savvy Vault. It provides thousands of hours of learning content available whenever you have a challenge with your horse.

I could go on and on about the value of this club, but most important is the group of people who are members. I love being able to share my wins and heartbreaks with people who love their horses like I do, ask for suggestions to move forward, follow fellow students on their journeys, and cheer them on.

I have traveled the world through members’ stories and videos and seen adventures I could never have been part of unless members had shared them. Even if the day comes when I can no longer ride, I will still be part of this club to cheer everyone on and share in their adventures.

I will always be grateful for this wonderful, safe, positive community that provides the encouragement to keep all of us going.

Five years ago I rescued a small herd of ponies who were so disrespectful and aggressive with each other that I was afraid for my safety when entering the pasture.

Shortly after, I joined the Savvy Club and fully embraced the support on offer.

Since I live very remotely, the Monthly Q&A with a professional, Pat’s Savvy Sessions, and Neil’s Member Minutes have been invaluable sources of guidance. The Savvy Vault is an absolute treasure trove of information that I frequently visit.

Before I knew it, not only was I safe walking among the herd, but they were queuing up to stand peacefully in line for a photoshoot at liberty.

Discovering a Better Way

Joining the Savvy Club opened an entirely different world for me. Through live Q&As with knowledgeable, caring Parelli Professionals, Member Minutes, monthly Savvy Sessions with Pat, and the original DVDs that introduced Pat Parelli’s natural approach to horsemanship, I began learning how to do things for and with my horse, not to him.

Growing into Partnership

Today, Buddy and I are learning to work together as true partners. He comes to me when he sees me and walks, trots, and turns in response to my intention and the lightest ask from my body. He also enjoys simply standing with me while we share quiet, relaxed time together.

What Buddy Has Taught Me

Because of Pat’s teachings, Buddy has helped me slow down, become more aware of my emotions, and grow into a better human being, not only for myself, but also for the people around me.

Being active in the Savvy Club has connected me with a community of genuine horse lovers from around the world who have become my friends. We support one another on our journeys with our beloved horses, and that connection is truly priceless.

Hi there. My name is Renee and I live in Ontario, Canada. I was introduced to Parelli Natural Horsemanship around 2015 after bringing home my baby Clydesdale, Gus. With hooves the size of frying pans and absolutely no understanding of personal space or boundaries, he quickly showed me that I needed a better way to communicate.

Parelli completely changed my relationship with horses. Today, whether I’m working with my athletic Anglo-Arab, Hudson, or enjoying bareback rides on Gus, I’m having more fun than ever while continuing to learn, refine my skills, and become a better horseman.

Living away from a horse community can make it difficult to find ongoing support, but the Savvy Club has become my virtual coach. The monthly Savvy Sessions with Pat and Julie are one of my favorite features because they combine the theory behind good horsemanship with real coaching sessions, making it feel like I’m sitting in on my own private lesson.

Neil’s Member Minutes are another favorite. They focus on the fundamentals every horse and human need, breaking them down into manageable mini-lessons that are perfect when time is short or I need inspiration.
