Professor
Professor is a six-year-old wild-caught Cracker Mustang who was the star of the show at our 2023 41st Anniversary Wild Horse Taming Event at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida.
Cracker horses, known as Florida's Mustangs, originated when the Spanish conquistadors first arrived on U.S. soil, which is why many of these horses look very much like Andalusians. Therefore, there's no surprise why Professor is the perfect model—he looks like a miniature Andalusian!
Being raised with a wild herd of horses on the Florida prairie gives him all the advantages of knowing where his feet are in all types of terrain.
It is uniquely interesting how curious and accepting he is of humans—both on the ground and in the saddle. He is very fun to play with at liberty, he loves to be ridden out on trails, and enjoys following cattle in the arena.
Professor is ideally suited for a confident, intermediate youth (or a smaller adult) that wants a horse that can go all day long and loves learning new things on the ground and in the arena.
P.S. He also is a fun little jumper!
