Josie is a 2017 lovely bay thoroughbred mare with a very friendly temperament and a bright future ahead of her. After receiving her foundation training both On Line and at Liberty, she was started under saddle this winter and is gaining lots of experience and confidence riding out on trails and moving cows.
She came to Pat’s barn in February 2019 after she was rescued by the Horse Protection Association of Florida the previous summer. Her natural foundation is equipping her with the skills necessary to be an excellent partner for a family with recreational goals or as an English sports mount for competition in hunter/jumper or 3-day eventing.
