I love it, but the second day I had it, it snapped. The end piece is very delicate and the ring at the end should be slightly bigger for a flag to fit into. I had to epoxy a fly guide eye to the end to fix it.

Handle your Parelli Herding Stick like a newborn kitten. The layers of the extension can get misaligned when you retract the sections. I have had to tear mine apart three times to realign the sections. This can be done by taking the black threaded knob off the end of the stick and taking all the section out. The smallest of the sections is very difficult to get to retract if you tighten it too much.

We use these for horses and dog training (cattle dog)! They are high quality and multi-useful tools. We also purchased the 4ft stick, I use that one a lot when I am riding.
